Doha, The 10th edition of the Qatar Isfiri Falconry Championship concluded at the field of Qatar Al Gannas Society Center in Ras Laffan on Saturday by holding the final competitions and crowning the winners.
The Qatar Isfiri Falconry Championship 2023 was organized this year with logistical sponsorship from the Seashore Group.
Director of Al Gannas Society championships and Marmi Festival Metaeb Al Qahtani and his deputy Abdul Wahab bin Omair Al Nuaimi honored the winners of the tournament.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency , Al Qahtani praised the good levels shown by the participants in training their falcons, noting that the Qatar Isfiri Falconry Championship is the first tournament organized by Al Gannas Society.
As the curtain falls on the Qatar Isfiri Falconry Championship, the participants await the Ras Laffan Falcons Championship 2023 which will take place during the period from Nov. 17 to 25, he added. Online registration for the tournament began last Thursday and will end on Sunday at 11:00 pm, while field registration and inspection of falcons will take place from Nov. 12 to 13 at the headquarters of Al Gannas Society in Katara, said Al Qahtani.
