Doha: The general assembly of Muaither SC elected Dr. Saleh Al Ajji as president of the club for 2024-28, while Dr. Saleh Al Yazidi will continue to serve as vice president. The election was by acclamation since no other candidate came forward for the two positions. The approval came during the club's general assembly meeting held Wednesday after a quorum was reached in the presence of the founding and working members as well as representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. Dr. Al Ajji said in press statements that Muaither SC has been developing for years as a result of the efforts of the board of directors and the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Football Association (QFA). He stated that he aims to reach the expectations of the general assembly members, the fans and the club's affiliates by bringing in wins in the Second Division League and making a comeback in the Qatar Stars League 2024-25 (Ooredoo Stars League) with national coach Nabil Anwar.
